Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Review assessments, reports and plans submitted by the petitioner to determine if they are reasonably accurate and technically correct in accordance with applicable LUPC laws and regulations relating to metallic mineral mining. The review must include the submittal of a written technical review memorandum in which the contractor will comment on the assumptions, variables, methodologies, analysis, and conclusions presented by the petitioner or the petitioner’s consultant. All written comments will be submitted to the LUPC within 30 days of receiving a formal request for petition review from the LUPC unless otherwise noted; 2. Attend one (1) day and two (2) evening sessions of the LUPC-held public hearing on the petitioner’s proposal (the hearing location has not been chosen, but is expected to be near the site of the proposal); 3. Recommend to the LUPC what, if any, additional information or studies are warranted by the petitioner’s proposal and provide, as needed, technical review in the development of any required studies; 4. Participate in up to three (3) meetings (expected to be in Bangor, ME) to discuss the findings and recommendations with the petitioner and/or the LUPC; 5. Respond to questions raised by the LUPC regarding the technical aspects of the project, findings and/or the awarded Bidder’s recommendations;
