Specifications include, but are not limited to: engage in statewide hunger relief services, including, but not limited to, the purchase of food from Maine food producers and processors, to provide grants to local hunger relief programs, and to pay the operational and distribution expenses of the organization. ; The provider must file an annual report with the DACF by December 30, 2020, and December 30, 2021. The reports must include information including, but not limited to: Detailed budget report; Number of food insecure individuals/households served; Number of farms/food producers included in the work and in what capacity; Feedback from participating farmers/food producers regarding engagement, i.e., survey and responses; Quantities of food procured through the program; Details of educational and other services provided; Analysis of impact of funded projects, including justification for metrics utilized; and Reports from sub-awardees, utilizing similar metrics as those listed above, as applicable.
