Specifications include, but are not limited to: Eleven (11) wireless handsets on access control doors and four (4) hardwired access
controlled doors. One of these incorporating a bio-metric fingerprint reader with
integrated card reader (to assist an officer with an individual in custody during entry).
Hardwired applications will include two (2) cage areas in the basement and two (2)
(entry and egress) at the evidence room. The evidence room will include an anti-pass
back feature, disabling the users badge if they do not read out.
Stainless steel plates will be installed where the existing hotel locks are removed.
Workstations that control the full capabilities of the ACSMS will be installed at the
Police Department and City Hall.
A single badging station will be setup within City hall. This will include the necessary
hardware and software to generate and print an access badge for city employees.
The selected vendor will provide the necessary training to staff and support thereafter so
that the ACSMS can be efficiently utilized and managed.
