Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Standardize and streamline service/incident management, asset management, change/release management, knowledge management, and project portfolio management on one platform across the UMS. ● Provide visibility into system-wide resource utilization to inform strategic decision-making. ● Ensure that solutions that align with business strategy and maximize return on investment are prioritized and selected. ● Enable the US:IT organization to: ○ provide a client portal that helps student, faculty and staff understand the services IT offers, and provide a mechanism for them submit self-serve requests and monitor the status of their requests. ○ track the investment in services and assets throughout their lifecycle, which will enable the organization to evaluate its strategy, as well as its ability to execute according to the strategy. ○ analyze which services and assets are no longer viable and when they should be retired.
