Contractor to provide the City with waste management services. • Development and operation of a transfer station at Hatch Hill, initially to create a separate area for residential customers. Possible long term transfer station for all waste. • Acceptance, transportation, and disposal of the City’s solid waste at a location other than Hatch Hill. • Support for construction and operation of the Hatch Hill vertical increase or other method of managing the waste stream. • If a different waste than the existing waste is proposed to be landfilled, provide a description of the waste material to be brought in and landfilled, any special transportation or landfilled methods needed, and whether the existing solid waste license will need to be amended to include any such waste. At a minimum, please include all waste type(s) and quantities. • Describe how residential and commercial recycling materials will be managed. • Describe how recycled materials that qualify under the Environmental Producer Responsibility rules and regulations will be managed. • Describe how materials and services shall be procured. • Describe how bulky wastes that are currently separated out will be managed.
