Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Maine Department of Economic and Community Development is offering management grants that provide limited financial support for technology centers that support early-stage development of technology-based businesses. Grants will be awarded once each year, with the total amount of grants awarded not to exceed $178,838. Grant amounts will be commensurate with the level of assistance provided and will be allocated on a competitive basis to those centers who can demonstrate the retention of successful start-up businesses in the State improvement of opportunities for workers through the creation of technology advanced jobs and the encouragement of private-sector initiatives. In accordance with State procurement practices, the Department is hereby announcing the publication of a Request for Proposals (RFP) # 201208377 for the purchase of the aforementioned services.
