A. This RFP is dealing with the Survey/Marking/Blazing of the LDTS East Campus. a. This campus can be accessed via gates off the following roads – (see embedded map on Appendix G) i. Butterfield Ridge Road ii. Route 116 B. The awarded Bidder will: 1. Set locate control 2. Confirm existing survey boundary lines (against the survey maps provided) 3. Blaze any “un-blazed lines” as well as re-blaze any needed lines a. When complete, all property lines should be completely blazed 4. Replace all missing property corners a. It is unknown how many need to be replaced. b. This is to be completed using the state survey standards 5. Perform any coordination with adjacent property owners needed to complete this work a. The Lola Dana Training Site – East Campus proper parcel is approximately 1,680 acres, and the linear perimeter is ~8.8 miles i. Town of Woodville Map 1, Lot 6 (~1377 acre portion) ii. Town of Woodville Map 5, Lot 12 iii. Town of Woodville Map 5, Lot 20 iv. Town of Chester Map 10, Lot 3 (portion) v. Town of Chester Map 10, Lot 10 (portion) b. Due to the use of the training site, the Department requires 72 hours’ notice from the awarded Bidder before they begin work on the property.
