Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Department is seeking DVTEL certified vendors to submit proposals for a video security management system and an access control system for the new Women’s Re-Entry Center located at 230 River Road, in Windham, Maine. Bidders will utilize the attached plans EY101-15015 SI-4R dated 4/15/16 for camera locations (33 interior and 4 exterior) and AE-15015 SI-3 dated 01/22/16 for door access (5 interior doors with reader access and free egress and 1 interior door with dual reader access). The complete video management system will be capable of recording and storing images for 60 (sixty) days. The new system will take advantage of the existing DVTEL infrastructure that has been installed recently at the Maine Correctional Center (MCC) in Windham, ME. The new system should be connected to the existing DVTEL infrastructure allowing any camera to be viewed from any DVTEL workstation on the network. The new server being requested should be configured as a secondary directory to automatically take over the primary directory role at MCC should the existing server at MCC fail. The Active Directory should constantly update the Failover Directory so that the system can continue operating without interruption in case of Active Directory failover. The new server should be scaled to handle the extra 129 cameras (at MCC) of storage for a period of one (1) week, allowing time for a technician to address any primary server failure. Bidder will also wire and install 7 door access readers per equipment specs identified above using document AE-15015 SI-3 dated 01/22/16. These door readers will be integrated into the existing MCC DVTEL infrastructure using the same programming as the MCC doors. Proposals should be complete and include all equipment, licenses, programming and labor necessary to complete this task. All camera installation, configuration and commissioning shall be performed by technicians that are fully authorized and certified by DVTEL This purchase request is being bid with no substitutes.
