On Call Sweepers with an Operator; Provide equipment with operators for use on construction and maintenance work on an as needed basis and other incidental work. Bidders may bid on one or more regions. Equipment that is required for operation on public ways shall be legally registered for the duration of the rental. The Contractor shall renew the registration prior to expiration at any point during the rental. Contractor shall provide daily fuel, oil and grease. The equipment specifications and terms are as follows: Mechanical broom will be of three or four wheeled types with cab. Hopper shall have the ability to dump into a wheeler from ground level; Hopper shall have a minimum capacity of 3 cubic yards. Conveyor must be full of cleats to accommodate large material without jamming; Dust control systems shall be in place and operational; Cab shall have filters and all gaskets shall be in place. Water system shall have a minimum capacity of 100 Gallons. Mechanical broom shall be equipped with a strobe light; Mechanical broom shall be equipped with functional gutter broom; Contractor shall have a full set of replacement brooms and gutter brooms in stock for each piece of equipment supplied to the Department; Contractor shall inspect, adjust and replace brooms as needed.
