Provide labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for the installation of a resilient track surface on an asphalt surface, 400 meter eight lane running track at the Fuller Field, Pierce Drive, City of Augusta. Surface Preparation • The owner will thoroughly clean the track surface and remove all equipment. • Vendor will air clean the entire surface.. • Ensure that all necessary repairs and surface cleaning are completed prior to the application of surfacing materials: ▪ Fill all cracks 1/16” or wider with Acrylic Crack Filler ▪ Correct depressions deeper than 1/4” using methods recommended by the material manufacturer. • Surface Variation: there will be no surface variation. Resilient Surface Installation • Contractor will install two layers of Black SBR rubber at approximately 2 pounds/square yard on entire track surface • Contractor will adhere the layers of rubber to the existing track with a spray of California Products Black Binder (or equivalent) at a rate of 18 pounds of rubber/gallon binder. • Contractor will spray two coats of California Products Black Top Coat (or equivalent) to provide UV protection for entire surface. • All work, material, mix, etc. must be in full accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications / provisions and instructions. Marking and Measurements • Wait a minimum of 48 hours after surface completion before applying line marking, or as specified by the manufacturer if greater than 48 hours. All measurements shall be made by competent, experienced and fully qualified personnel. • Locate and establish all radius points and establish all necessary control points and permanently set.
