The Maine Air National Guard intends to repair Building 512 – Base Fire Station’s VRF Heat-pump system on the Bangor Air National Guard Base. The system has undergone various repairs over the past several years but remains un-operational, selected AE firm will diagnose and troubleshoot the existing system to design the repairs and/or replacements to make the system fully operational. The project site is located within a military controlled access installation. Interested firms shall demonstrate an understanding of applicable DoD Design Guides and UFCs, DoD Form 1390/91, and physical security requirements. The scope of services for this project includes, but may not be limited to, schedule and cost estimating, preliminary design, design development, contract documents, and administration of bidding and construction. The AE Consultant may be required to coordinate this work or additional work with other consultants contracted by the Owner.
