General Specifications • Provide precast concrete reinforced, open bottom, structures with footers. • 1’ high footer blocks with integrated grooves are required for all structures • Seams for footer blocks and abutment blocks shall not coincide with each other. • Sketch must be provided with bid showing abutment blocks/footers/bridge section layout. • Footers and abutment blocks shall extend a minimum of 1’ beyond the bridge deck sections lengthwise. • Total running surface length shall be 30’ minimum. • Individual pieces shall not weigh more than 10,000 lbs • Deck shall support legal highway loads with no fill over the top. • Concrete shall be 5,000 psi at 28 days. • Concrete shall cure 5 days prior to delivery. • An engineer’s stamp may be required (provide separate price for stamp) • Prices shall include transportation to specified locations (FOB-show delivery price separately) • All pieces shall have cast in lift hooks. • All deliveries shall be prior to September 1, 2025 and be coordinated with BPL for unloading purposes. If this timeline cannot be met please provide alternative timelines. • All dimensions shown below are preferred. Larger dimensions can be proposed but may be rejected especially in the case of increased height due to site conditions. • Delivery truck shall come with a spreader bar for unloading. • Integrated concrete curbs poured in a single pour as part of the bridge section are required (separate curbs attached with fasteners are not allowed) • Minimum clear inside opening span of 7’6”Wx2’H including footers.
