Specifications include, but are not limited to: Fire Alarm Inspection: The Contractor will provide licensed trained technicians who will perform annual inspection and functional/diagnostic testing of panel functions, auxiliary/ monitoring functions, and all peripheral devices listed and currently on-line with SPSD facilities Life Safety Systems as required under NFPA 72. This includes testing and alarming all devices once annually, including elevator call back functions. Testing of elevator smoke device should be in conjunction with an Elevator Technician. Tests will be scheduled in advance, and at the convenience of the department’s staff. The contractor shall provide qualified licensed personnel as defined by the National Fire Protection Agency standards for inspections and testing and the current Occupational Safety and Environmental Health Manual. The qualified personnel should possess the knowledge of all applicable Federal, State, and Local code requirements during inspection and testing of systems. Fire Alarm Monitoring: In the event a signal is received at the central station for a monitored site from the building premise control panel, the central station will make every reasonable effort to notify respective authorities and the individuals listed under Authority Numbers and the User & Contact Information provided to Contractor at the telephone numbers provided by the SPSD. Fire Alarm Maintenance: The Contractor shall provide replacement of system devices including batteries and labor during normal working hours (excluding head end panels) as necessary to maintain the proper operating parameters of the system as it is installed. (Acts of God, vandalism, neglect, misuse and wire faults not included). Intrusion Alarm Remote Support: The Contractor will provide remote services including user changes, updates, diagnostics and system maintenance via secure, direct-dial support or encrypted IP connection. Database backups will be maintained and updated with each change.
