The Work of this Contract includes construction of a new public trailered boat access facility with gravel access roads (12 ft to 20 ft in width) and pull-through gravel parking lot for 12 rigs; and paved ramp approach road, "make-ready" area and ADA parking. Additional construction will include a 42 ft long precast concrete plank (28 - 12 ft wide units) ramp for trailered boat launching with an adjacent 6 ft x 12 ft cast-in-place concrete abutment and a 30 ft long precast concrete groundout plank area (20 - 6 ft wide units) for floats (3 - 6 ft x 16 ft sections) with riprap side slopes. Also to be installed are erosion control measures, drainage structures, infiltration depressions, signage and access control gate; to be installed or maintained are vegetated buffer areas. Upon the completion of the new boat launch the existing and separately located boat launch gravel drive, concrete ramp and dock system is to be removed. Owner to supply precast concrete planks, plank connecting bolts, floats, and raising of the overhead utility lines. The Contractor shall furnish and install all other items in accordance with Plans and Specifications, and Permits. No additional specifications were given.
