Long Creek Youth Development Center is undertaking a capital improvement initiative focused on enhancing outdoor illumination across the facility grounds. The primary objective of this project is to bolster security measures by improving lighting near critical areas, specifically the facility perimeter, the outdoor recreation field, and exterior pathways and entrances. The scope includes a comprehensive assessment and upgrade of existing exterior lighting systems to ensure adequate brightness and coverage, thus providing clear visibility to staff monitoring incarcerated residents. Enhanced lighting will serve as a preventive measure, effectively deterring unauthorized individuals from approaching the perimeter and will assist staff during critical incidents. The scope of services for this project includes, but may not be limited to, schedule and cost estimating, preliminary design, design development, contract documents, and administration of bidding and construction. The AE Consultant may be required to coordinate this work or additional work with other consultants contracted by the Owner.
