Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Contactor agrees to mow the lawn in the front of the building and the lawn up to established north, south, and west property boundaries including driveway banking and around plant Industry storage building weekly starting in May and curtailed in October, (estimated 20 weeks). The actual start and end dates and total number of weeks service required will be set by the State of Maine based on the seasonal needs. If the season does not require weekly service the Department reserves the right to change the frequency of required service to meet the seasonal needs, the contractor will only be paid for the weeks of service provided. 2. The Contactor agrees to weed whack and control vegetation around drainage ditches, buildings, trees and shrubs and disposal of remnants weekly. The application and use of any herbicide or weed control chemicals must confirm to the laws of the State of Maine and applied by a licensed applicator.
