The work shall consist of the contractor providing hot bituminous pavement of various mix designs to the Augusta Public Works (APW) throughout the 2025 and 2026 construction season. APW vehicles will travel to the contractors’ plant location to obtain the mix. The type and amount of mix requested may vary throughout the day depending upon multiple crews, projects, and requirements. The Contractor shall provide the product requested within the period listed on the bid form and will safely load the material onto APW vehicles in the amount (tons) requested. The amount requested may range from 1 to 15 tons depending upon the need and the capacity of the vehicle. The award of this contract will be based on product availability, distance to the plant and price. The City will select the contractor that best meets the needs of the City.
