Monitoring Requirements - Contractor to provide 24 hour per day 7 day per week systems monitoring for fire, security, low temperature and other alarms transmitted to the central station and provide appropriate dispatch response to the alarm. Contractor will dispatch alarms to the appropriate 9-1-1 dispatch center immediately upon receipt of the alarm. Contractor will maintain call down lists for each facility and perform call downs on receipt of the alarm. Call down lists are required to be updated yearly. Contractor will provide activity and monitoring reports as requested by the MaineDOT. Reports to include alarm, alarms verification and testing as determine by the Department. Equipment testing will be conducted annual unless noted in the “Schedule of Items”. Contractor to maintain reports for a period of at least 3 years. Maintenance and Testing - entry, security systems and components. This work may include, but not be limited to, updatingexisting intrusion alarm control panels/communicators and associated control equipment, powersupplies and standby batteries and chargers, intrusion system key pads, motion detectors, audibledevices, and door alarms. Repairs and troubleshooting may require technicians to visit the facility to provide technical assistance and equipment resets. Reports of malfunctions, equipment problems and recommended equipment replacement are to be reported to the Contract Administrator or Designee for the facility location. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all supervision, labor, equipment, tools supplies,facilities, permanent materials and temporary materials and services required to perform the Work, all required documentation, warranting its Work and performing all other Work indicated in the Contract. If significant repairs, additional equipment or work is needed, pre-approval must be authorized by the Contract Administrator. Emergency repairs may be made without prior authorization when public safety is a concern. In situations as this, make the repairs to protect the public or employees safety and immediately contact the Contract Administrator and area Designee. The Contractor to provide any operational training for newly installed equipment or replacements.
