Specifications include, but are not limited to: The downtown district supports many businesses and offices along with residential units, restaurants and night clubs. City sidewalks, walks and exterior stairways (herein referred to as “Walks”), must be maintained in a manner that safely provides for pedestrians (and vehicles) to travel through the downtown area. For the purposes of this contract, work for the successful bidder shall include maintaining all identified Walks and stairs in a passable condition during a storm event by removing snow and/or ice and treating with de-icer. Snow and/or ice removal and treatment shall continue as needed throughout the storm with a final clean-up being performed at the end of the event.
