The scope of work is as follows: A. Saw cut approximately 600 lineal ft. of existing slab 1 foot from the seven (7) existing drains. 1. Two (2) drains are 42 ft. long. 2. Two (2) drains are 70 ft. long. 3. Two (2) drains are 56 ft. long. 4. One (1) drain is 44 ft. long. B. Demolition, removal, and disposal of compromised concrete and steel that is to be cut out as specified above. C. Form new drains with galvanized angle iron or other rust-resistant material to easily accept the existing floor grates to allow for removal to periodically clean the drain gutter. There are to be four (4) areas of the existing drain trench to be filled level with the existing finished floor as follows: 1. Approximately 10 ft. in the rear of the Rescue 1 bay. 2. Approximately 14 ft. in the rear of the Ladder 1 bay. 3. Approximately 10 ft. between the Heavy Rescue and SR-1, which will require a pipe from one area to the other. 4. Approximately 10 ft. in the rear of the wash bay. D. Pour new concrete that shall be doweled into the existing slab with #4 rebar every 12” where practical and finished to a similar smooth surface as the existing floor.
