Provide and empty 2 (two) eight (8) CY bear proof dumpsters to the Bog Brook Training Site in Gilead Maine. These will be placed inside the wooden fenced in areas. (See photos on page 15) One dumpster is to be serviced (emptied) one time a week from 01 August 2025 through 31 July 2026 One dumpster is to be serviced (emptied) one time a month from 01 August 2025 through 31 July 2026 If the scheduled rubbish removal day falls on a Holiday or a day in which the Department is not open for business, the rubbish removal will be done the day prior to the closure day or the next business day. Upon written notification to the Provider, the Department may eliminate dumpsters for any reason. Other dumpsters may be added if needed by the Department by amending the contract. Additional pickups will be provided within 24 hours upon request by the department. The Provider is responsible for clearly labeling as well as maintaining the appearance and sanitary condition of the container. The provider shall keep the container in good, safe, and operable condition throughout the period of the contract. Dumpsters will be maintained to ensure they are free of odors, dirt, debris, and pests. Containers shall have all broken and/or missing covers and parts replaced. The Provider will be required to clean up all debris spilled during the pickup process. The Provider shall record the quantity (tons or pounds) of waste picked up. Data shall include waste type, quantity, and location.
