2.1. The helmet must meet the following standards: • VPAM - HVN - 2009 (Level 3), STANAG 2920 requirements stipulated • DEA-FBI Ballistic Helmet Protocol V1.0-2019 - Certified by FBI BRF • NIJ STD 0106.01/0108.01 IIIA RTP Testing Standards 2.2. Helmet kit should include: a. The helmet shell b. 4-pt Adjustable Suspension System c. Wheeldial Retentions system, operated by one hand while wearing gloves d. Accessory Side-rail with visor mounting capability e. Helmet bag 2.3. Integrated (optional and to be priced separately) additional accessories mounting systems and equipment: a. Night vision device mounting plate. b. Mandible ballistic attachment meeting same threat levels as helmet. 2.4. Helmet shell design characteristics and requirements should be ACH-type (Advanced Combat Helmet). 2.5. Helmet shell must be made of aramid or a non-metal material to ensure a reduction in weight, prevent ricochet and ensure a higher level of fragmentation protection. Helmet shell must be made to accommodate ear protection headphones and built-in radio headset, with mounts for night vision devices and capabilities to be worn with additional equipment and gasmask.
