The City of Bangor requests bids for one (1) heavy duty tractor type snow plow with underbody or approved equal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Heavy duty tractor type chassis. 2. Chassis must comply with SAE ARP5548 Modular MTE Cab Forward MidEngine power unit. 3. Shift able four-wheel drive (4WD) with front and rear lockable differentials 4. Lockable transfer case with high and low range. 5. Four (4) Wheel Steer with rear axle identical to front axle. 6. Minimum four hundred fifty horse power (450hp), six (6) cycle turbocharged diesel engine with charge air cooling and ether start. 7. Six (6) speed ZF automatic transmission with integrated transfer case. 8. Engine hood must be removable or tilt back to allow engine maintenance. 9. Anti-lock brake system (ABS) air brakes. 10. Heated automatic moisture ejectors.
