The City of Presque Isle is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering firms for design review and cost estimation services for a proposed 5-unit T Hangar facility. The cost estimate is critically important for the planning of funding for this building. Cost estimates must be detailed and within +-10% of the final engineers cost estimate. It is assumed that the cost estimated will include estimates for 2025 with an accelerator for construction in 2027. The final deliverables will include a report listing any design changes need to meet all relevant current building codes and regulations as well as an itemized cost estimate for the design, bid, construction administration, inspection and construction for a 5 Unit T-hangar complex. This project involves reviewing existing drawings and bid specifications that were produced for our existing 5-unit T-hangar project. The goal would simply to construct an identical 5-unit T-hangar (except any changes needed to meet all current codes and regulations) complex located adjacent to the existing units. All drawings and bid specifications for the existing T-hangar complex will be made available.
