Allied Road – Washington Street North to End • Proposed dimensions: 2,500’ x 26’ & 30’ corner width shown on plans. • Obtain insurance in accordance with the Insurance Requirements outlined in the CSXT Public Project Manual. • CSX railway flagging coordination. • Install/Replace proposed cross culverts and driveway culverts. • Box cut the roadway from Washington St. North to area specified on plans for installation of 15= - Type D, and 3= - Type A. • Reclaim existing roadway surface and grade reclaimed material to 2% crown. • Add 6= of Type A gravel and grade to 2% crown. Taper to butt joints at project limits and intersection aprons. • Raise roadway in proposed area depicted on Reconstruction Plans. • Pave 2= of 19mm HMA base, 1.5= of 12.5mm base/intermediate and 1.5= of 12.5mm HMA surface. • Alter catch basin (DMH1) to drainage manhole. • Butt joints shall be constructed at intersections and 5’ from both sides of rail crossing. • Install 1’ gravel shoulder. • Install slipform concrete curb island (4’ x 24’) shown on plans. • Match driveway aprons. Type A gravel, 3.0= 12.5mm HMA base, 1.5= 9.5mm HMA surface • Reestablish ditching and in-slopes. Common borrow to be used in areas to decrease roadside slopes. • Loam, seed and mulch disturbed grass areas and as directed.
