Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Shreveport is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a web-based, hosted scheduling and dispatching system for the city’s demand response transportation services. The intent of this system is to improve operational efficiency and contribute to an enhanced customer experience. The desired system will have an intuitive scheduling interface, support compliance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations, allow for schedule optimization to reduce the number of vehicles required to provide the scheduled trips, provide a web and/or mobile application interface for passenger self-service, and leverage the City’s existing investments in hardware and technology
