Specifications include, but are not limited to:
A. Contractor is to verify that plumbing stacks and roof penetrations are in place and
flashed to deck surface. All surface repairs are to be made before new shingles are
B. Verify deck surfaces are dry, free of ridges, warps, or voids.
C. Contractor shall secure all metal flashing in place with nails at 6 inches o.c. with
D. Contractor shall flash and seal work projecting through or mounted on roofing with
plastic cement, water tight. Install shingles in accordance with manufacturer’s
E. Contractor is to do all work to local and manufacturer's code as per instructions.
After roof replacement has been made the Contractor will clean entire work area.
Remove and replace all chimney pipes, caps, collars and boxes in all 10 cabins. All
piping is the match the existing pipe in type, color and size.
The existing stove are to be removed, cleaned and replaced to manufacturer’s original
1. The Contractor is responsible for all quantities, measurements, and grades.
2. The Inspector shall instruct the Contractor on any incidental construction that may be
necessary to accomplish a functional project.
Note: Due to facilities being rentable, contractors schedule should be based on the
availability of facilities being open from reservations.
Note: Contractor should have free use of restrooms and utilities.
Note: All construction shall comply with the International Building Code for State -
Owned buildings. Abide by OSHA on all safety regulations concerning safety, safety
devices and fire protection systems.
Note: Contractor should perform a selective removal of a debris designated to be
salvaged. All debris to be removed should be disposed of off the project site.
All linear footage measurements are estimated, the Contractor is to verify all measurements in
the field. All are to be field located by the Project Inspector. The best window of time when the
facility is not in use shall be coordinated with the Project Inspector and the park manager at the
pre-construction meeting. This work is to be completed with as much expediency as possible in
order to keep the inconvenience of the patrons using the facility to a minimum.
