Specifications include, but are not limited to: Change-out Air Handler · Vendor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to remove the roof section from building to install air handler. · Vendor shall supply crane and remove defective air handler from the attic. · Vendor shall supply and install one (1) OME replacement Trane Air Handler Model# UCCAA14BODORBH32, to match existing or equal. · Vendor shall re-connect existing piping and electrical. Any modifications shall be included. Re-install all modified piping and reconnect to existing ductwork. ; Roof and Framing · Vendor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to remove and reinstall the roof. · Vendor shall remove rafters and decking as needed to remove unit from building. · Vendor shall ensure all decking is removed and replaced with Tongue and Groove (T&G) solid wood to match existing or preferred ¾” Extira plywood decking or equal. · Vendor shall ensure plywood clips will be used on plywood. · Vendor shall ensure all joints will be supported by a rafter. · If the ridge is removed, two (2) USP MiTek HRS416-TZ or equal straps shall be used on each side of all joints to match existing ; · Vendor shall ensure cut rafter will be attached to the header using 1 1/4 inch x 12 inch 16ga Twist Strap model MTW12 or equal. · Vendor shall remove shingles and replace it with new CertainTeed Landmark or equal shingles to match existing. Manufacturing Grade (MFG) approved 301b. · Underlayment shall also be installed by vendor.
