Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish janitorial services for LDWF’s Lafayette, LA office location as specified below. The intent is to establish a flat monthly fee for servicing the approximately 10,000 square foot common area as per the specifications. LDWF currently occupies approximately 33,000 square feet of the building. The remaining 33,000 square feet is currently unoccupied but is available for leasing. Prospective bidders therefore are to bid the occupied and unoccupied space on a per square foot basis with the understanding that the amounts may fluctuate at any time during the contract period. A. Common Areas (Approximately 10,000 Square Feet) Five days per week (Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) 1. Spot clean glass doors & framework. 2. Spot clean interior glass where needed. 3. Dust mop all hard floors and damp mop hard floors to remove any spillage or soiled area. 4. Sweep porches and entrances. 5. Empty trash cans and remove trash to a collection point. Replace liner and wipe receptacle if needed. 6. Empty & clean ash urns. 7. Clean dining areas, wipe tables, chairs and vending machines. Check walls, cabinets, appliances for splash/spill marks and remove as necessary. 8. Clean elevator. 9. Spot clean carpet. 10. Restrooms: Clean & disinfect restroom fixtures, sinks, mirrors, toilets & urinals. Empty trash cans and clean receptacles. Refill dispensers (soap and towels) as needed. Sweep & wet mop floors with disinfectant. Spot clean walls & partitions, remove splash marks. 11. Damp wipe entrance area metal and finger marks on entrance glass. Three times per week (M-W-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) 1. Damp mop all hard floors. 2. Vacuum carpet -high traffic- halls. 3. Clean and polish water fountains. Weekly 1. Vacuum all carpeting and carpet mats. 2. Clean glass display cabinets. 3. Sweep and damp mop all hard floors including stairs. 4. Sweep patios & porches. Monthly 1. Clean all large glass & framework in lobbies & entrances that can be reached without special equipment. 2. Dust baseboards, windowsills & all other trim; remove marks from light switches and doorframes. 3. Scrub atrium floor
