Specifications include, but are not limited to: Restrict access to the work area by placing temporary barricades, caution tape, warning signs, etc. Protect the ULM Activity Center wood floors and all equipment located in the Activity Center while work is conducted. Disconnect electrical power and verify with electrical meters that the electrical power supply has been turned off (if needed) before proceeding with work. Clean and disinfect the entire HVAC System. Remove all air registers and diffusers and clean as needed. Cleaning of the HVAC System: Utilizing a negative air vacuum collection device must be of sufficient power to render all areas to be cleaned under negative air and to contain all debris as well as protecting the indoor environment. Clean all air handler units, supply and return lines, coils, blowers and exhaust fans in the building. Once cleaned EP registered/approved disinfectant must be applied to the entire system (ducts, return, and unit). Disinfectant may be applied while the vacuum is on and sprayed into each supply. The negative air will pull the disinfectant through the entire interior of the duct work system. After disinfecting the system an encapsulating coating (fungicidal) is applied to the entire system including the return and unit. Example of coating is Fosters 40/20.
