The New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) is seeking a qualified Contractor to provide the following services for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport’s Fire Station: Replace the wireless controls in the Fire Station with wired controls. Remove all wireless thermostats, wireless flags, and wireless coordinators in the building. SA bus wire shall be run throughout the building from existing respective controllers to the new thermostats. 5 of the thermostat locations are on center block walls. Metal wire mold will be run from the ceilings down to the thermostats. Wire shall be fished down the walls for the remainder of the thermostats. Bacnet wire will be pulled through the building to connect the existing NAE to existing controllers that are presently wireless. All programming shall be modified to accept the new thermostats. The new thermostats (21 total) touch screen type (NSB8BTN240-0) commissions the controls on AHU-1 and AHU-2 in the Airport Fire Station. Commissioning consists of verifying field controller operation and its software. Calibrating sensors, exercising valves and dampers to make sure they are working, energizing electric reheats and verifying the amperage draws to ensure all heating elements are working and testing safeties. This is needed to calibrate the zone wall mounted wireless temperature sensors. Backup software for controllers to BAS.
