The City of Alexandria intends to contract with a qualified proposer to develop, implement and perform a flushing program throughout its water distribution system. This RFP will cover a system-wide flushing program. The proposer shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform the Program for the City's various diameter (42" -2") potable water distribution mains, including flushing sequence development and implementation. This is not an on-call contract and the selected Contractor shall provide development and implementation for all Program services for the City's water system. The City will provide support for the project areas of the Program implementation by verifying the accessibility and functionality of valves and hydrants.
