• Conduct full-scale annual inspections of: o Fire Alarm Systems and Smoke Detectors in all buildings o Portable Fire Extinguishers (various types and sizes) and refill as needed o Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems o Fire Pumps (list provided) o Backflow Preventers (74 total) (list provided) o Fire Hydrants (51 total) (list provided) o Hood Suppression Systems (list provided) o Halon Systems (list provided) o Extinguishers (list provided) • Submit detailed written reports of findings for each inspection category. • Provide all labor necessary to temporarily remove and reinstall devices, detector shields, and protective covers, following the manufacturer’s recommended procedures. • Notify the University’s Facilities Management Department in writing of any required repairs, including a firm cost estimate. • Report any non-functional devices immediately to Facilities Management for further direction. • Ensure all service call slips are signed by a Facilities Management representative.
