Specifications include, but are not limited to: This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued by the State of Louisiana, Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Youth Services, Office of Juvenile Justice (referred to hereinafter as YS or the State) for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified individuals and firms to provide residential services for youth who are under the custody of Youth Services (YS). All required educational services for youth shall be located on the campus of the awarded facilities. Educational services as required by Section 5.7 of this RFP and outlined in the proposed contract with the LEA shall be in place at the initiation of services pursuant to the contract. A Residential treatment program is a community-based structured behavioral treatment program which serves youth who have been adjudicated delinquent or in need of services. Proposer must contemplate providing community-based services for the following regions: Alexandria (Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon and Winn parishes); Lafayette (Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermilion parishes; Shreveport (Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, Jackson and Webster Parishes); Tallulah (East Carroll, Franklin, Madison, Richland, Tensas and West Carroll Parishes).
