Specifications include, but are not limited to: Security Guard Services. NC State University (hereafter referred to as University) seeks proposals from qualifiedvendors to provide building security services for various buildings on the NC StateUniversity campus in Raleigh, North Carolina. The awarded vendor shall provide one security officer to provide security patrolservices, building facility/lockup, and security checks on the University Campus,Monday through Friday for four (4) hours per day. In addition to this officer, otherindividual departments and units within the University may request additionalsecurity officers for various assignments. In the event that a department makes arequest, the Vendor shall provide additional security officers at the same rate as theVendor charges for the permanent officer, provided that these requests arepermanent, regularly scheduled officers. An example of this type of assignmentwould be an individual department or college requesting an officer to patrol itsbuildings, Monday through Friday, for four (4) hours per night. Any security officerutilized as a security escort driver must provide documentation that they havereceived special training for this assignment. Documentation of all training andcopies of certifications will be forwarded to the Campus Police ProfessionalStandards Manager
