The Contractor Shall be responsible for the following: Demolition and Removal Remove all existing metal roof panels from the Maintenance/Office building. Haul off and properly dispose of all debris in accordance with local regulations. Inspect roof framing and purlins for structural integrity Roof Preparation and Repairs Cut out deteriorated or misaligned purlins on the exterior left and right sides of the building. Replace purlins where necessary to ensure proper alignment and support for the new roofing system. Clean and prepare roof framing surfaces prior to installation. T-Panel Metal Roofing System: Fabricate and install a 24-gauge Galvalume T-Panel metal roofing system with double lock seams. Includes installation of: Drip edge Closures and ridge capping Wind turbines or ridge vent Gable trim flashing Pipe jacks and sealants All necessary fasteners and accessories Roof Insulation: Install a new 3" vinyl-backed batt insulation beneath either roof system. Includes fastening and vapor barrier protection. Commercial Gutter System: Fabricate and install new 24-gauge Galvalume commercial-grade gutters compatible with roof system. Includes downspouts, straps, and end caps.
