The Louisiana Tech University Office of Purchasing is accepting SEALED BIDS for the repair and rebuild for a Goulds Boiler Feed-water Split Case Pump. Specifications: Pump - Goulds Model No 3316 2x3-9 Boiler Feed-water Split Case Pump, serial number Q252077 John Crane Mechanical Seals need to be repaired or replaced. - Shaft is straight within 0.0005, bearing fits are within tolerance. - The bearing carrier on non-driven end of the bore is out of tolerance and will need to be replaced, bearing carrier on the drive end is with tolerance. - On the bottom case, there is a small place where the water has washed out the gasket and cut into case. This will need to be repaired. - NDE impeller as small cutting on balance holes. - Impeller wear rings need to be replaced and casing wear rings need to be replaced. - Impeller to diaphragm wear rings need to be replaced. - Diaphragm needs to be replaced. - Provide new sleeves, bearings, gaskets, and trico oilers.
