Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of renovations and additions to the existing Stonewall site into a large animal research facility, primarily fitted for porcine cardiac studies. Requirements include general animal care, housing and support for pigs, fitment for general surgical and transplant procedures. Medical service lines include: transplant, advanced surgical oncology, cardiovascular, novel Bailey models, meth and trauma studies, etc. Renovations to the main building of approximately 6,000 s.f. includes MedSurg suites, cath lab, chem lab, and cold storage. A new structure of approximately 5000 s.f. is needed for animal housing. Pre-fab trailers of approximately 1,000 s.f. are needed to serve as 24/7 hospital units.
