Specifications include, but are not limited to:The project scope is to install a video surveillance, security/intrusion, and access control system to protect valuable contents. The designed systems shall include interior and exterior video surveillance, security/intrusion detection, access control, and beam/motion detection. The system shall be integrated and shall encompass the entire building including rooftop monitoring. The total project completion is to take 90 days from time of award and notice to proceed. All products in this list were selected as the basis of design because their ability to integrate with the existing security system at the New Orleans Museum of Art. One of the overall goals of this project is to have connectivity to the access control systems between the Museum and Rendon Street. Also, the Museum must have monitoring capabilities for Rendon Street at the Museum campus but it does not have to interface into the existing system. Other products can be submitted as equivalents, but they must be submitted in writing to the City’s Purchasing Department and approved by the designer of record.
