This solicitation is for the removal and replacement of one A/C system for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety, located at the Lafayette Office of Motor Vehicles, 3241 NW Evangeline Thruway, Lafayette, LA 70507. The Contractor shall remove existing 6-ton system, and dispose of in accordance with all Federal, State and local Codes. The Contractor shall furnish and install one new Daikin 7.5 ton, split system A/C system, or equal. The A/C system shall include one new Daikin Model #DX14XA0903AA air handler, or equal. The A/C system shall include one new Daikin Model #DX14XA0903AA, or equal, 7.5 ton straight cool condenser. The Contractor shall furnish and install all needed sheet metal transitions to adapt to existing returns. The Contractor shall furnish and install one new thermostat to control area temperature. The Contractor shall remove all debris resulting from project. A dumpster will not be provided. Minimum 1 Year Warranty on all parts, compressor, and labor.
