Imaging Hardware: • Two digital cameras with resolution ≥2448 × 2048 pixels, frame rate ≥50 fps, suitable for tensile and compression specimens with gauge length of 20–75 mm. • Two C-mount compatible lenses, f/2.8 with 50 mm focal length (or equivalent) suitable for 20–75 mm gauge length, with distortion correction <0.1%. • A set of extension rings (0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 mm) and polarizing filters. • Thermal camera: 640 × 480 px, ≥20 Hz, −20 °C to +2000 °C, 24° FOV, fully integrated with optical cameras. Calibration: • Set of rigid, thermally stable (non-plastic) calibration targets covering fields of view from 20 mm to 450 mm. • IR calibration target enabling synchronized thermal–optical correlation in postprocessing. • Calibration target holder with predefined tilt-angle control through acquisition software. Acquisition & Synchronization: • DAQ system: at least 6 channels, 10 kS/s per channel, with digital triggering input. • Wi-Fi based image acquisition remote for controlling exposure time and image capture. • Manual triggering switch must be included. • Thermal–DIC synchronization accuracy must be specified (e.g., within ±1 ms). Lighting & Mounting: • Two LED lighting systems with adjustable positioning arms and polarizing filters, each >10,000 lumens (or equivalent), capable of delivering uniform illumination for DIC at 20-75 mm gauge length on both matte and reflective (metals) specimens. • Mounting system must include precision aluminum stereo bar, professional tripod with head, and carrying case.
