Specifications include, but are not limited to: Guard and security services (including traffic control) furnish unarmed security guard service (approx. 50 hours per week) for one unit of the Office of Disability Determinations Service (located in Harvey, LA) from 07/01/2021 through 6/30/2022 as per the specifications and all special terms & conditions listed herein.Service is to be provided from Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The security guard (one guard per shift) must not split, but will be required to work the entire shift for that day. Security personnel should not vary from week to week. Any personnel issues should be promptly reported to the program administrator and/or designated site contact persons. Contractor is to communicate with (report,inform, consult with, and/or advise) only agency personnel as indicated.Before reporting to duty, the security guard will be required to complete a criminal background check, which includes fingerprinting in order to meet federal HSPD requirements for the agency. The agency will conduct all phases of the HSPD process on site. The contractor must provide all security personnel, equipment, uniforms, and any other equipment necessary to perform duties.Security guard shall be dressed in full uniform and unarmed. Security guard will be required to remain stationed inside of building. At no time is the guard permitted to leave post. Security guard must assist authorized personnel against bodily injury and/or harm and against theft or vandalism to property.
