Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional Services for Emergency Medical and Fire Support Study/Analysis. The project scope includes consultation with representatives from all EMS/Fire Districts within Beaufort County. The following is a list of required work: 6.1 Analyze the Emergency Medical System in regards to population and service in respect to other systems. 6.2 Review the response times for ambulances and first responders, and determine its efficiency. 6.3 In reviewing the current location determine if additional station locations are need and where. 6.4 Review the current EMS station locations and determine if they are properly located. 6.5 Review the use of the First Responder Program as provided by each fire department and determine its efficient and operational capability. 6.6 Determine the efficiency of the Quick Response Program as used by EMS, to include determination of additional units and/or turning the program over to the fire service. 6.7 Review current dispatch procedures for Fire and EMS.
