Flat Bars and bolts for the back of pads mounted to chain link fence shall be included with the purchase of the pads and included in the price of the pads. Installation instructions to be provided to the University. Rail Padding: Sports Venue Padding, Inc Perma Rail Top Rail Padding, or equal. Rails padding will be installed on dug-out metal railings that are not chain link fence rails. Rail padding should be able to be installed on 1.5” to 3” dugout rail. The rail padding should provide for a aluminum under-structure to support foam, and it should be designed to be a permanent fixture. The construction should be square in shape and considered “lean-proof” that should feature a double-locking metal bracket system to deter rotation when leaned on by players. The foam should be wrapped with vinyl along the length of the rail in one long continuous piece. The cover should have a minimum 5-year warranty for the out-door vinyl. Color to be determined by the University. The top cover should be a durable outdoor vinyl that is solid and seamless and should feature large 6” live printable space for possible team logo and/or sponsor advertising in the future. The rail padding should be a closed cell polyethylene high impact padding protection will not absorb water, rot, warp, or sag over time.
