Specifications include, but are not limited to: manage its on-going comprehensive performance based Health/Wellness Program in order to establish minimal standards of physical fitness for entry level and incumbent fire personnel; will serve approximately two-hundred forty (240) employee's including suppression and selected non-suppression members of the Jefferson Parish Fire Department; Onsite Job Task Evaluation (JTE): To provide a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist and/or an individual who shall have a degree in exercise physiology, kinesiology, or some related field to go onsite and evaluate the various tasks that comprise the job duties of the classified and unclassified employees of the Jefferson Parish East Bank Consolidated Fire Department; Fitness Evaluation: All designated personnel may participate in a confidential physical examination (frequency set by age) by the Occupational Medicine physician and a fitness assessment, following medical clearance by said physician.
