• All materials shall be as specified new. • All materials shall be as per all manufacturer recommendations and guidelines. • Any concealed damage must be reported immediately to the owner. • No work outside these specifications shall be performed without approval from a Department of General Services employee. • 7.1 Before work begins: o Successful bidder and an owner’s representative shall inspect, document, and take photos of existing building conditions. • 7.2 Installation of canopy: o Design, engineer, supply, and install one (1) new steel extension canopy. The location is in attachment A. o Canopy shall include but not be limited to the following: o 10” steel channel at the eave o 8” steel channel attached to existing rafters o Four (4) 4x4” tube steel columns o 6” steel roof purlins o R-panel roof o Required rake trim and eave trim o Gutters o Wall apron and counter flashing o Required rake to meet code o All have trim o No dissimilar metals will be allowed on this project. o All steel primed and painted to match existing o Fasteners and hardware shall be 316 stainless steels o Successful bidder shall remove and properly dispose of all construction debris.
