The contractor shall perform the following tasks for each of the five (5) cooling towers located at the North Airport Towers: 1. Electrical Lockout/Tagout (LOTO): Safely disconnect and lock out electrical power supply to each cooling tower in accordance with OSHA standards and site safety protocols. 2. Water Isolation: Coordinate with Stationary Engineers to isolate water flow to each tower prior to cleaning operations. 3. Cooling Tower Cleaning: Clean each cooling tower using a combination of water pressure, approved chemical agents, and manual scrubbing. Cleaning shall include internal and external surfaces. 4. Use of Equipment: Utilize lift machinery and generator power as needed to access and service all tower components safely and efficiently. 5. Component Inspection and Cleaning: Clean and inspect the following components for each tower: o Fill media o Cold water sump o Hot water sump Provide visual inspection reports for each component. 6. Debris and Scale Removal: Remove and properly dispose of all debris and accumulated scale from each cooling tower. 7. Sample Collection: Collect and label representative samples of removed scale and debris and deliver to the Airport’s team for further analysis.
