The City of New Orleans EMS Division uses approximately: 200 - 500 "D" cylinders (NOEMS need a commitment of 300 “D” cylinders monthly from the awarded bidder with the awarded bidder having the capability to provide more if needed),30 - 50 "H" cylinders (NOEMS need a commitment of 30 “H” cylinders monthly from the awarded bidder with the awarded bidder having the capability to provide more if needed) , and 6 “M6” cylinders of medical oxygen monthly. These numbers may decrease or increase upon demand with no less than 2 deliveries per week with the possibility of more than 2 deliveries per week depending upon demand. Contractor will also supply 180L Liquid Oxygen Tanks for times of upon request. All "D" cylinder tanks must be aluminum in construction and have integrated Oxygen delivery capabilities via built in regulator which is capable of providing from 1 - Liter of Oxygen up to 25 - Liters of Oxygen as well as include a 50 PSI DISS connection on each tank. Due to storage areas for end use, the regulators installed must not exceed 4.0 inches in diameter. Additionally, each tank must include a handle. Contractor Shall: Contractor shall have the ability to deliver "D" and "H" size oxygen tanks to a single central location on a weekly basis on volume of gases used. Additional delivery of just "D" size oxygen tanks to anther predetermined location. Provide OSHA compliant and secure oxygen storage racks for all full and empty Oxygen tanks at the central location. The storage racks must have the ability to secure each bottle and allow for locking of all tanks to prevent removal from unauthorized persons. Contractor shall be responsible for the storage of residual oxygen tanks at their facility. All maintenance, repairs, replacement, and hydrotesting of each tank will be the responsibility of the contractor.
