Question: Would you recommend an airboat or an outboard? Can you access the Tigre Lagoon area with an outboard, I can’t tell from the map if we would have access. Thank you.
Answer: Water levels are projected to be high during the site showing and should allow for access to some planting areas with a small outboard. Bay boats are able to travel down the main channel of the Little Vermilion Bay Terrace Field. Some areas have silted in and would require an airboat if you want to explore all areas of the Little Vermilion Bay Terraces.
The Tigre Lagoon Project Area will require an airboat and landowner permission. We do not plan to go to that site tomorrow.
Please send all questions by email. Please note the site visit on 18 May 2023 9:30 am CST and the requirement to RVSP no later than Monday, May 15, 2023 at Close of business. Proposals are due on 2 June 2023 at 0800 EST.
We will not answer any questions after 26 May 2023 at 1500 (3:00pm) EST.
