New Orleans Public Library (NOPL), City of New Orleans agency is requesting to for a structural fumigation to be done. A properly performed fumigation is intended to eradicate the termite threat to the structure. Cost of initial inspection Performing the fumigation on the building The following specifications are what we require in the fumigation: Initial building inspection for positive pest identification and measure for fumigation The Contractor shall not apply any pesticide product that has not been approved by New Orleans Mosquito, Termite & Rodent Control Board in writing prior to application. The pesticide application shall be according to the manufacturer's label. Dispersal of fumigant shall be monitored during the fumigation process. The use of chloropicrin (or equivalent warning agent) shall be prior to release of fumigant. Contractor shall properly seal the structure and vehicle using appropriate tarps, clamps, and sand/water snakes.
